Hello world! This blog is going to follow my triumphs and failures as I try to make a name for myself in the world of bartending.
A little about myself: I am a banking professional by day who had a crazy idea of wanting to become a bartender. I have absolutely no experience being a bartender, much less the food service industry (except for a brief stint as a busboy in high school at a Japanese Steak House).
This blog will chronicle my journey to becoming a bartender – from practicing, to supplies, to courses, to job interviews, and eventually videos from the bar as I woo the crowd – I plan to capture it all here on this site for your enjoyment. I always welcome suggestions and tips, and hopefully this can turn into a haven for ideas for those up and coming into the industry.
